June 11, 2008 : Nelson to try his hand at Xterra aboard new Orbea Oiz Mountain bike.
Kirk will race in one, perhaps two Xterra triathlons in 2008. The first is likely to be Xterra Iron Creek in Spearfish, SD July 12. The second possible off-road race is Xterra US Nationals, October 5, in Lake Tahoe, NV.

Kirk places 10th in exceptional Wildflower Men's Pro Field!!
In Kirk's first "big" race and first half of the 2008 season, he managed to sneak into the top 10, just 9 minutes back from 2007 Ironman World Champion, Chris McCormack. Checkout just how competitive this year's Men's Wildflower field was!
